It's Katherine's first year of Montessori School. She's doing okay. She's not convinced that she likes school and often doesn't want to go, but gradually she is learning to fit in. |
|

On this day the two classes of Montessori kids (Katherine's class and the "upstairs class" went to Lange Farm for a Fall Festival. First stop, a hay ride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin. |
| |

This is Louisa (purple coat). She and Katherine are becoming best buddies. This is great because not many kids in Katherine's class have the fortitude to handle Katherine's personality. Louisa is a friend from church, AWANA, and now Montessori School. |
|

And here they are picking out their pumpkins. The pumpkins were pretty picked over by the time we got there, but everyone managed to find one they liked. |

This is one of Katherine's teachers; Miss Becky. |

We return to the parking lot with our pumpkins. |
|

The kids line up to get off the wagon. |
| |

The next stop is the greenhouse for apple cider and a doughnut bite. |

After the snack break we wander through the corn maze and see if we can get the kids lost...picture Hänsel and Gretel. (grin) Rest assured, when we returned to the school, all kids were accounted for.
